The Musical Brain Conference: Schumann: the Man, the Mind and the Music
The Sacconi Quartet are pleased to announce that we will be performing at the Musical Brain’s 2010 weekend conference, Robert Schumann: The Man, the Mind and the Music, at St John's Smith Square, London, 2nd-3rd October.
The two-day event celebrates Robert Schumann’s 200th anniversary. As well as concerts, the conference is running a series of talks, films and workshops by musicians and neuroscientists that look at Schumann’s creativity and the ways that music effects your mind. Composer Nigel Osborne is the Conference Director and Ian Ritchie, the Artistic Director.
