Sacconi 10th Anniversary Concert
Welcome to the start of a new and exciting season for the Sacconi Quartet - a special one for the Quartet as it celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2011-2012.
To mark the 10th anniversary of their first public performance, the Sacconis are playing a celebratory concert as part of the London Chamber Music Society at Kings Place, London, on Sunday 8th January 2012 at 6.30pm. They have devised a special 'birthday programme' which marks the Past, Present and Future of the Sacconi Quartet, which they will be performing at the concert:
Haydn: String Quartet in G, opus 77 no. 1
Bartók: String Quartet No. 3
Schubert: String Quartet in D minor, D810, Death and the Maiden
Please put the date in your diaries - the Sacconi Quartet would be delighted to see you there!
The Sacconi Quartet formed in 2001 whilst they were studying at the Royal College of Music and gave their first official concert in January 2002. They are still performing with the four founder members.
